We are a production contract manufacturer serving many industries. We produce parts from a wide variety of material from plastics, aluminum, brass to steel and stainless steel. We are currently looking for Set-Up machinests for Lathes or Mills on second shift. All of our lathes are Fanuc controlled machines, Mills are Haas machines.

Job Description:

· Interpret blueprints, set-up sheets, and route sheets

· Select the proper tooling for the job

· Set up and operate machine

· Perform necessary inspection using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc…

· Document inspection results as needed

· Edit programs

Requirements:

· Understand blueprints

· Ability to edit programs

· Ability to troubleshoot machining related issues

· Good communication skills

· Minimum of 3 years set-up experience

· Has own tooling – micrometers, calipers, etc…

Physical Requirements:

· Able to lift 40 lbs

· Able to stand for 10 hours or more per day

First shift is Monday - Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm. Second shift is Monday-Thursday 2 pm - 12:30, Four 10 hour shifts gives you a 3 day weekend every weekend. Also, all of our holidays are paid as 10 hours for 2nd shift instead of 8 hours. Your birthday is considered a paid holiday for you after you have been here for 1 year.
